just a moment (jam) is a charitable contemporary arts foundation dedicated to expanding artists’ practices through commissions, sustained creative support, and dynamic public programmes. We bring together disciplines, practitioners and perspectives in daring new ways to develop and present primarily time-based works, such as spoken word, performance, sound, installations and moving-image.

Working in close dialogue with artists, our approach is grounded in a shared process of research and development. We take an active role in shaping projects, working responsively as we bring together collaborators and test ideas.

The foundation operates through partnerships with organisations and sites across London and beyond, developing each commission in conversation with its context. This flexible model enables artists to work at different scales and in relation to diverse environments and audiences.
